Meet the Staff
Janie Taylor, PT, DPT, OCS, is a partner in Physical Therapy Central as well as Confluent Health. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Physical Therapy Central. Janie started her career with Physical Therapy Central in 2006 as a staff physical therapist. She became a managing partner in 2011, opening the Davis location. Prior to transitioning to CEO, Janie took on the role of Regional Director for PTC, as well as Director of Compliance.
In 2003, Janie graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University with an BS in Human Sciences. She then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2006. Janie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University, School of Health Sciences in 2009. Janie continued to develop her practice by earning her board certification in orthopaedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2010. Janie was recently honored by Oklahoma State University as a College of Human Sciences Rising Star Alumni.
Janie has been active in the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2003, serving as membership chairman, Secretary, and 1st Vice President. She as been active with the OPTA legislative committee, advocating for the PT profession on Capitol Hill many times over the past years. Janie received the Emerging Leader Award from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2008. In 2011, Janie was awarded the OPTA Kenneth Ball Award for Significant Service to the association.
Janie enjoys spending time with her husband, Tommy, and 3 children – Kate, Harrison, and Anna. She loves warm weather activities, attending all her children’s sporting events, and rooting on her OSU Cowboys!
John Crank is a Redbud Regional Manager and Physical Therapist, and is currently treating at our Sand Springs clinic, where he is the Clinic Director.
Raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, John received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) in Nutrition. He went on to graduate with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Tulsa.
John is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with additional certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. John is involved in the Tulsa running and triathlete community providing injury assessments and volunteering at races for post-race Physical Therapy.
John currently lives in Tulsa with his wife, Andrea, and daughter, Ava. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys traveling with his family, running, climbing, and grilling.
Amy Malone is the Regional Director for Redbud Physical Therapy. She is a native of Chicago, Illinois. Amy attended Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. After attending Ohio State, she earned her Master’s of Science in Exercise Science from Syracuse. Upon graduation, she earned her Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from Governors State University in University Park, IL.
Continuing her education, Amy earned certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling and is working towards her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace. Treating both men’s and women’s Pelvic Floor, Amy treats conditions involving pelvic and testicular pain, incontinence, constipation, overactive bladder, dyspareunia, prolapse and much more.
Amy is happy to now call Tulsa home and enjoys traveling to various clinics to treat patients. In her free time, her other interests include running, practicing yoga, and traveling around the globe.
