Meet the Staff
Alicia was born and raised in Kiefer, Oklahoma, and moved to Skiatook in 2001. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Master of Physical Therapy in 2007 and has worked in an outpatient setting ever since.
Alicia joined the Redbud Physical Therapy family in 2011 and has had the opportunity to work with various orthopedic, neurologic, and sports related injuries, as well as the pediatric population.
In her free time, Alicia enjoys spending her spare time with her family.
Shaya attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She continued her education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she received her Master of Athletic Training (MAT) degree. She then returned to Harding University to serve as the Women’s Athletic Trainer and as an athletic training instructor in the Exercise and Sports Sciences Department for six years. She also earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS).
She decided to continue her education once more and attended Washington University in St. Louis where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. She earned her dry needling certification while there.
Shaya was born and raised in now resides in Owasso.
Melissa Briggs earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Melissa specializes in Women’s Health/Ergonomics and is most interested in treating postpartum mothers & ergonomic issues.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.
Carly was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she was active in competitive gymnastics as well as hurdling and sprint relays in track. When she was beginning high school, her father suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury while boogie boarding in the ocean. Watching his treatment, therapy, and recovery gave Carly a deep desire to pursue a career in physical therapy.
In 2017, Carly graduated Phi Kappa Phi with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion with an emphasis in Exercise and Health from Oklahoma State University. In college, Carly was an active member of the Chi Omega Sorority where she participated in leadership and community activities. In May 2020, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. While completing her clinical education, she discovered her passion for outpatient orthopedics, geriatrics, and neurological rehabilitation.
In her free time, Carly enjoys working out, cooking, hiking, watching Oklahoma State University football and basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
