The Tools in Our Toolbox
The kind of therapy your body needs depends on a number of factors, like your pain, injury, age, and physical fitness level.
We’ll never just give you an exercise program and leave you to figure it out. Instead, we’ll define an individualized plan just for you, and then work with you so that you get the maximum benefit out of the time you put in.
Physical therapy is more than just stretching or exercise. Often the movements you need to do are tiny and specific—easy to get wrong if you don’t have help.
We’ll use evidence-based interactive teaching, as well as share video examples you can reference later on our proprietary app.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
This is what most people think of when they hear the words physical therapy. Soft tissue mobilization is a form of manual physical therapy where your licensed physical therapist uses hands-on techniques to optimize your muscle function.
Soft tissue mobilization is best for:
- Breaking down and reducing adhesions
- Improving range of motion
- Lengthening muscles and tendons
- Reducing swelling and water retention
- Decreasing pain
- Restoring function
The buoyancy of water reduces the effects of gravity and helps your mobility while reducing pain. Unlike most clinics, we have pools onsite at many of our locations—relaxing stone pools, so you feel like you’re at a spa.
Aquatic therapy is best for people dealing with:
- Back problems
- Knee and ankle injuries
- Sports injuries
- Patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries
